USA-Based Operational Volunteers
Operational volunteers are responsible for ICEHA's program research, website development, event planning,
and grant writing.
All of ICEHA's volunteers are independent, energetic, highly capable, and diligent contributors who
are passionately committed to furthering ICEHA's mission. A volunteer contract will be provided.
Prior to being able to list working experience for ICEHA on a resume, the volunteer will be
required to contribute satisfactorily for a minimum of three months.

ICEHA provides a highly dynamic, non hierarchical work environment for passionate, dedicated and committed employees. Director, Business Development and Communications
ICEHA is recruiting a Director of Business Development and Communications to report directly to ICEHA's Chair & CEO, Dr. Marie Charles. Job-responsibilities comprise a mix of Marketing & PR (60%), support for fundraising (30%), and management oversight (10%). A detailed job-description is available upon request.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media.
- Successful professional background in public relations, preferably in the field of healthcare (min. 5 years)
- High level of energy and action-oriented
- Exceptional attention to detail and nuance
- Passionate and engaging
- Excellent interpersonal skills; excellent sales - skills
- Out-of-the-box, creative thinker and implementer with a strong ability to prioritize “return on investment” opportunities
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
- Excellent creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
- Strong oral and written communications skills; great skills of persuasion and negotiation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
- Self-started yet also strong team player.
- National and / or international travel might be required from time to time.
Remuneration : competitive and commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include healthcare insurance and paid vacation days.

Bookkeeper – Part Time
As ICEHA continues to grow extremely fast we are in need of a bookkeeper to
help us with accounting and data entry in-house. This position reports to ICEHA's Chair and CEO and requires a mature candidate
who is creative, takes initiative, and can work under minimal supervision. Background required:
at least 2 years professional experience as a book keeper. The candidate must have good
organizational skills and working knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks. Professional attitude.
Team player. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. CPA strongly desirable.
Summary of job description: Part-time (approx. 8 - 10 hours/month). Stipend of $25-50/hour commensurate with experience.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Enter financial records into QuickBooks according to SAP
- Process expenses
- Forecasting and budgeting for the organization as a whole
- Forecasting and budgeting for individual programs
- Possibly tracking of grant expenditures and grant management

Volunteer Program Coordinators
We are seeking volunteer program coordinators to conduct
background research on program opportunities, conduct
grant-writing, and coordinate logistical activities
to ensure the successful integration of the program
into ICEHA’s existing portfolio. Strong organizational
and communications skills are required. S/he will
have a proven ability to multi-task and work independently
in a professional environment. Ideally, s/he will
have a strong interest in and passion for public
health. MPH / MBA / MIA / MPA graduate students
are strongly encouraged to apply. Position based
in New York City. Working hours are flexible. Some
international travel may be required.
