Regional Volunteer Coordinators (needed for Western and Eastern Coast United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Western Europe)

A nurse or public health professional is urgently needed to assist ICEHA with scaling up its recruitment of HIV physicians and nurses to volunteer in our programs in developing countries.

Each Regional Volunteer Coordinator would participate in all aspects of recruiting new volunteers in his/her region, including contacting hospitals, HIV clinics and professional associations, placing announcements in appropriate newsletters and websites, distributing information at relevant conferences, etc. The Coordinator would work under supervision of ICEHA’s Program Manager for Volunteer Network, in New York City.

Candidates should have a nursing or public health background, an interest in HIV/AIDS and global public health, strong commitment to ICEHA’s mission, great interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to work independently in a professional environment. Working hours are flexible but will amount to 8 -12 hours / week minimum.

Program Managers

We are seeking volunteer program managers to conduct background research on program opportunities, conduct grant-writing, and coordinate logistical activities to ensure the successful integration of the program into ICEHA’s existing portfolio. Strong organizational and communications skills are required. S/he will have a proven ability to multi-task and work independently in a professional environment. Ideally, s/he will have a strong interest in and passion for public health. MPH / MBA / MIA / MPA graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply. Position based in New York City. Working hours are flexible. Some international travel may be required.
